Setting up LGFLMAIL.ORG mailbox on phone

The following steps need to be completed while the Android device is connected to a network with Internet access:

  1. Select Email in the Apps menu.
  2. If this is the only email account on the device then you will see an account setup screen.
  3. Enter smith11.000@lgflmail.org  in the Email field.
  4. Enter your USO password in the Password field.
  5. Select Manual Setup.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select Exchange.
  8. Enter LGFLMAIL\haspinall.000 in the domain field.
  9. Enter mail.lgflmail.org in the Server field that is now displayed.
  10. Click Next.
  11. After a few seconds, a message should appear that asks you to grant access to some security features.
  12. Select OK. You should be asked whether you want to use SSL - choose Yes.
  13. You can now choose which of the main services you wish to synchronise (Mail, Contacts, Calendars).
  14. Click Next.
  15. You should now see another message requesting that you grant Email device administrator rights. You will need to select Activate.
  16. Setup will finally ask you to enter a description for the account. After doing this, click Next to complete the process.

The following steps need to be completed while the iOS device is connected to a network with Internet access. Please note that these step-by-step instructions apply to iOS11 - earlier iOS versions may vary slightly in the order in which the fields are displayed:

  1. Select Settings in the main screen.
  2. Scroll down to Accounts & Passwords and select this item.
  3. Select Add Account.
  4. Choose the Exchange option.
  5. Enter smith11.000@lgflmail.org in the Email field.
  6. Enter any appropriate name or comment in the Description field.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Sign in on the "sign in to your lgflmail.org Exchange account using Microsoft" popup
  9. Enter your USO password in the Password field.
  10. Enter mail.lgflmail.org in the Server field that is now displayed.
  11. Enter LGFLMAIL in the Domain field.
  12. Enter haspinall.000 in the Username field.
  13. The Password field will already be filled in with the details that you entered in step 9.
  14. The Description field will contain the information that you entered previously in step 6.
  15. Click Next.
  16. After a few seconds, ticks should appear next to each displayed field. If any field is marked with a cross, then the data previously entered in that field was incorrect and will need to be entered again.
  17. If all fields are ticked then you are invited to select which of the main services you wish to synchronise (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders). These are all enabled by default.
  18. Now select Save.
  19. StaffMail can now be accessed via the built-in Mail application.
