Web filtering

When browsing internet, depending on the content and how different websites are being classified, a may not bee able to access a website due to web filtering settings.
This may happen for example when trying to access YouTube.com by a teacher.

The block page contains information such as the website being blocked, the category the website falls under & information useful for troubleshooting.

This website may not be a security threat but is classified in this way to ensure that a block page is received.

Please note if USO user-based filtering is enabled for the school a USO login button will be visible on the block page - see the arrow below.

In order to access the website, if the filtering settings allows it for example for teachers, please click on the USO login button or visit
Once on the above page, please add your LGfL credentials (this would normally be the same as the LGfL webmail)
After refreshing the browser, you should then be able to access the website - if the web filtering rules set up for your school allow this.
